‘Pandi’, Namitha’s new project, is about ‘Theru Koothu’ (village dance) artistes. Directed by Madhuravan and produced by Hitesh Jabak, the movie’s music is scored by Srikanth Deva. Raghava Lawrence and Sneha play the lead roles in the movie. Namitha plays the role of a ‘Theru Koothu’ artiste in the movie. ‘Theru Koothu’ is a folk dance form which is especially performed during village festivals and fairs. It is said that special training on ‘Theru Koothu’ has been arranged for Namitha by prominent artistes of the profession.
